- Enhance learner autonomy
2.
Things to do
- Set Goal and decide activities that you want to do to achieve the goal --> post the statement on your blog
- Do exercises as you planned
- Required exercise = 2 recordings (at least one of the two
should be Shadowing) and 1 listening (submit them in Blackboard)
- You can do 2 Shadowing or 1 Shadowing and 1 free-speaking (=talking with someone). For the required recording, you must do self-evaluation(submit them in Blackboard)
- You can make as many recordings as you want (not just two).
- You can choose materials that you shadow by yourself (dialogue in textbook, lab exercises, short conversations from “Shadowing” textbook, your favorite anime/drama, songs, etc.)
- Have an individual consultation with Shibata-sensee to discuss problems and how to solve them
- Reflect and set goals for the next PE cycle --> post the statement on your blog
